The Hidden in Plain Sight room is mobile, interactive, educational exhibit of a mock teenager’s bedroom, developed as a community education tool. The room includes various drug and alcohol related paraphernalia which help parents and other adults to explore and identify potential signs that a teen may be engaging in drug and/or alcohol use. OregonCARES members guide adult participants through the exhibit and explain various substance abuse trends, signs and symptoms, in an effort to bring awareness and helpful resources. The exhibit also includes examples of the latest “vaping” devices including JUUL, BLU and Sorin devices.  We’re updating this exhibit all the time!
